Wirraparinga (Brownhill Creek) is steeped in Kaurna history, Culture, and language yet this remains unacknowledged by most who visit.
This workshop facilitates an understanding of the Cultural practices, knowledge, language, and seasonal migration through the Wirraparinga area for the past 65,000 years. The workshop includes historical information about the area and can also include a walk to the historical shelter tree in the caravan park nearby. For children the workshop concludes with engaging activities such as the 'Look for Me' challenge (finding 9 carved symbols and artefacts across the park) and tree measuring.
