Liesl von der Borch

Liesl von der Borch is an educator passionate about place-based pedagogy and advocating for an awareness of Kaurna language, history, and culture throughout the education system and beyond.

She regards this as crucial to the future of truth telling and reconciliation. To this end she founded and has co-Directed ‘Walking Together with Kaurna’ (a majority Kaurna owned business) since 2017.

We Acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of this Country. We Acknowledge their connection to land and community and pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging. Our workshops occur on Kaurna land; Always was, always will be.
