PARNTU Making and Aboriginal Games Workshop

Parntu (game ball) are traditional possum or kangaroo skin balls used to play a game that was the forerunner to AFL as we know it today.
This workshop combines our Aboriginal Games workshop and parntu making, beginning with a brief look at historical information (oral histories and paintings) linking Kaurna and Warrnambool mob to the beginnings of AFL.
2 parntu are made that are kept by the school/business at the end of the session
