On-Country Wilfred Taylor Reserve

Wilfred Taylor Reserve is located on Christie creek in Morphett Vale. The land was ‘owned’ by the Taylor family from the 1850s until being transferred to Noarlunga council in 1967.

We will be looking at ancient evidence of Kaurna life along the creek to deepen participant’s understanding of this extraordinary place.

· There will be a short walk along designated pathways to observe ancient trees, carvings, and sculptures.

· Kaurna artefacts workshop will be held while sitting on the giant wakalti (shield)

· There is a ‘Look for me’ challenge – finding Kaurna words, sculptures, and artefacts in the environment to tick off your list
